Technology : Proweld welding machines from the ARC series are the latest generation products, built with high-speed, IGBT type transistors, of superior quality. They are smaller, lighter and stronger than the previous versions.
They can be used at maximum capacity up to 60% of the time. In other words, they can work, with the welding current adjusted to the maximum, for up to 6 minutes, after which it requires a 4-minute break for cooling, conditions that are difficult to overcome in normal situations of use - the device is not used when the user changes the electrode, positions the parts, cleans the slag, etc.
Field of use : It is a single-phase welding device, inverter type, recommended especially for welding with covered electrodes in direct current, through the SEI process (Welding with Covered Electrode) also known as Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA/MMAW) or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). The best results are obtained by using rutile electrodes, for welding a wide range of alloyed and non-alloyed steels, stainless steel, etc.
It is recommended for maintenance and repair work, in construction sites, in general production workshops, in agriculture or in the household for various works.
Construction : The welding machine has a robust, fully metal casing, very resistant. It is provided with a handle for transport, made of aluminum.
The high-power electronic components are efficiently cooled by means of the aluminum radiators incorporated in the device, to which are added electro-fans with high air flow. The internal temperature of the device is constantly monitored, and if it exceeds the maximum allowed limit, the operation of the welding device is suspended until the internal temperature drops to normal operating values. This cooling and thermal protection assembly extends the life of the device.
The panel of the device is very easy to use, being equipped with a single potentiometer for adjusting the welding current, without steps and an LED display for indicating the preselected welding current. It also contains two power and overheating signal bulbs. On the back of the device is the power button.
